To submit, please follow these instructions:

  1. Click on “Submit TIM@SAS paper” below.
  2. Enter as title the same title as your TIM paper.
  3. Enter as abstract the same abstract as your TIM paper, PLUS, write the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) link to your TIM paper at the end of the abstract.
  4. After you submit the above, you will go to another page, where you can upload a paper. Do not upload your TIM paper! There is no need to upload the paper itself. At this stage, you are done.

The paper must be accompanied by a full author registration (or an additional paper fee if you are already presenting another paper at SAS 2020) to be included in the program.

You must prepare and upload a short video presentation (instructions below). The “IEEE TIM journal papers @ SAS” session will be announced in the final program.

Video Presentation Instructions

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, SAS 2021 been moved to a fully virtual conference. We have opted for a format where each contributed presentation will take the form of a pre-recorded video, available during the new dates of the conference, August 23-25, and on-demand after the conference concludes.

We request a prerecorded version of your presentation be submitted. Presentations will be posted to the virtual platform, and available for viewing to all attendees through the conference, as well as, the four weeks to follow.

We request you to prepare and upload a video of your presentation, comprised of a brief introduction with webcam, if desired, followed by voice over slides for your presentation. This will be posted within your presentation time slot on the SAS 2021 on-demand virtual platform. Please note that the file must be a video file in MP4 format (more details below). Please do not try to upload PowerPoint or PDF files.

Our recommended approach to record a compatible video from content displayed on your computer screen and voice recorded via the computer microphone, is to record the presentation using Zoom, available to users on most platforms and in most countries:

Instructions for recording your presentation with Zoom:

For Authors located in China who are unable to access Zoom for free, use of the free software OBS, which allows also to capture simultaneously yourself while speaking and your slides:
