TIM Special Section

Special Section of IEEE SAS in IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement

A SAS 2021 Special Section of IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement will be published to promote the most significant results presented at the conference.

All papers which were accepted and presented at SAS 2021, including Recent Results Extended Abstracts, are eligible to be submitted as extended version to the SAS 2021 Special Section in IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement (TIM). Each manuscript shall be within the scope of the TIM (click to see Scope of Transactions) and based on a paper published in the SAS 2021 Proceedings. Moreover, the manuscript MUST be technically extended beyond the scope of the proceedings paper, in terms of the overall TECHNICAL content and research results.

Special Section  manuscripts may ONLY be uploaded in the period of: November 5 – 19, 2021

Please DO NOT try to submit your papers before this date, because the SAS Special Section folder in the submission system will not be available.

Every year, a portion of submitted papers to the SAS Special Section in TIM are rejected immediately, without going to review, because they do not frame their writing in the context of Instrumentation and Measurement. To avoid this happening to your paper, please carefully and completely follow the 2-point description under the Important Note here

TIM’s Special Section submission dates: November 5 – 19, 2021

Please note that the submission date will NOT be extended.

Preparation for Manuscript Submission

Please carefully follow the instructions under the “Submitting your paper to a Special Section ” heading of IEEE TIM’s Special Issue Author Guide.

Notice: The SAS 2021 paper identifier should be put in the upper right-hand corner of every document to be submitted.
